Commencement Convocation Tickets
President George W. Bush has graciously accepted an invitation to be the inaugural Commencement Convocation speaker. The convocation will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 12 in Reed Arena. Tickets will be required for admission to the convocation. For security reasons your TAMU ID card and the names of all recipients are required to receive the free numbered tickets which will be distributed at the MSCC Box Office.
All tickets have been distributed. No more are expected to be available. Tickets were given on a first-come, first-served basis. As the terms and conditions stated, a reservation was not a guarantee of availability.
Degrees will be conferred to graduates at subsequent commencement ceremonies that do not require tickets for admission.
TAMU Degree Candidates: Each degree candidate was offered a ticket to attend Commencement Convocation with the option of inviting up to two guests.
University Community: Tickets offered to degree candidates but not picked up by Friday, December 5, were offered to the Aggie family. Texas A&M University faculty, staff and students could receive one ticket for themselves and one additional ticket for a guest until all tickets were taken.
